About Enterprise
Headquartered in Clayton, Missouri, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is an American company, which is also a flagship brand of Enterprise Holdings. The parent company also includes others in its fold like Alamo Rent A Car, and National Car Rental. The business was previously focused on ‘home city’ rentals where customers usually borrowed vehicles when theirs was under repair. But it gradually expanded to provide airport-based rentals particularly after Alamo and National were acquired in 2007. Originally called ‘Executive Leasing Company’, it was renamed ‘Enterprise’ later.
