About Lufthansa

Lufthansa or Deutsche Lufthansa AG is Germany’s national airline. It is also the second-largest (along with its subsidiaries) in Europe in terms of passengers carried, and stands just next to the low-cost Ryanair. The airline was established in 1997 and is one of the five original members of Star Alliance, the world’s largest airline collaboration. Headquartered in Cologne, Lufthansa considers Frankfurt as its primary hub and has its principal operations base, the Lufthansa Aviation Centre located here. Its secondary Flight Operations Centre is situated in Munich Airport.
